Here’s how Kappa Alpha Order impacted my life

Kappa Alpha Order is the place where we had a lot of firsts. It’s the place where we first ventured out of our hometowns, the first place we bonded to on campus, and the place where we first learned the real meaning of friendship. Read on to see what your brothers said about how Kappa Alpha Order impacted their lives.

“The friendships that I made at the KA house at UGA are still some of my deepest friendships,” Jeffrey Nickol ‘85 said. “I rely on the support of these friends as I have moved through the various stages of my life. They have also relied on my friendship, and we all benefit from these relationships. There is a bond!”

Andrew H. Knox ‘72 said that while in Kappa Alpha Order, he developed lifetime friendships. “[Kappa Alpha Order] helped me learn how get along with other people and develop leadership skills,” he said.

According to Scott Farris Nolen ‘82, Kappa Alpha Order “taught me to have good solid values in all aspects of life (both work and personal). It also introduced me to a group of young men with similar backgrounds and values and we have remained friends to this day,” he said.
